GAETI 2016 Features Mississippi Department of Transportation Engagement

We are so pleased to have 18 teachers here this month for the Global Academic Essentials Teacher Institute (GAETI). This week they participated in an educational outreach program provided by the Mississippi Department of Transportation where they built bridges to calculate weight distribution and load density. The institute combines engagement in standards, 21st century skills and technology. Faculty delivering the institute include Dr. Pamela Scott-Bracey, Ms. Angela Latham, Dr. Joanne Beriswill, Dr. Sang Joon Lee, Dr. Kun Huang, and Dr. Kathleen Sherman-Morris.
