Scholarships
We are pleased to offer departmental scholarships in addition to those offered by the College of Education and the university. You may apply for all university, college and departmental scholarships through one application, the General Scholarship Application (GSA).
Each year, the GSA opens October 2. The priority date for entering freshmen to submit the GSA is December 1. The priority date for transfer students is March 1.
Just a reminder, you will need to reapply for scholarships each year you’re enrolled at MSU, even if you’ve been previously awarded a scholarship.

Departmental Scholarships
Robert Brinkman Endowed Scholarship in Industrial Technology
Recipients of the scholarship must be full-time students majoring in Industrial Technology and have and maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Francis N. Matthews Endowed Scholarship
Recipients of the scholarship must be undergraduate students majoring in Industrial Technology with demonstrated academic achievement. It is available to juniors and seniors with a financial need for scholarship aid.
Nan Carpenter Cain Endowed Scholarship
Recipients of the scholarship must be undergraduate students with demonstrated academic achievement majoring in Information Technology Services or Learner & User Experience Design. They must have leadership qualities and financial need.
Francis N. Matthews Endowed Scholarship (for Graduate Students)
Recipients of the scholarship must be graduate students pursuing a doctorate in Instructional Systems & Workforce Development.
